It contains prebiotics and probiotics that support the natural emptying of the anal glands and promote healthy digestion and a balanced intestinal flora.

Excellent Pets Gland Guard Powder contains prebiotics and probiotics:
Prebiotics – certain types of fibres that serve as food for beneficial gut bacteria.
Probiotics – live bacteria, including Enterococcus faecium, which naturally occur in the digestive tract.
Together, prebiotics and probiotics help support digestion and maintain a balanced intestinal microflora. A healthy gut flora in turn contributes to the natural emptying of the anal glands.

Composition: Extruded rice flour; pumpkin seed flour; pectin; Japanese sophora (pagoda tree); inactivated yeast; pineapple flour; turmeric; magnesium stearate.

Nutritional additives: 3a700ii vitamin E – 21,600 IU, 3a300 vitamin C – 13,465 mg

Feeding instructions
< 6.5 kg: ¼ small measuring scoop
6.5–9 kg: ½ small measuring scoop
9–20 kg: 1 small measuring scoop
20–30 kg: 1½ small measuring scoops (or ¾ large measuring scoop)
30 kg: 1 large measuring scoop

During the first 5–7 days, gradually increase the amount to allow the pet to adjust to the higher fibre content.
